Structural characterization of spray-dried microgranules by spin-echo small-angle neutron scattering

چکیده

Spray-drying is a widely used industrial technique and has shown an immense potential in the fields of nanoscience technology. This due to its ability synthesize microgranules consisting correlated nanostructures using evaporation induced assembly through bottom-up approach. Although nature correlation among constituent nanoparticles their size distribution could earlier be obtained by conventional Small-angle Scattering (SAS) technique, statistically averaged quantitative measure shell thickness hollowness formed granules remained challenge. In this work, we have Spin-echo Neutron (SESANS) characterize spray-dried nanostructured having different hollowness. It that non-destructive provided precise quantification granular sizes utilizing polarization property neutrons real space directly.
